Accountant – Entry Level
Reports To: Controller
Position Overview
To provide services to ensure that financial transactions, accounting documents, and data are maintained accurately and in a timely manner to support the financial goals of the company.
Job Summary
1. Essential Job Functions
A. Accounts Receivable
•Enter and submit Accounts Receivable invoices to customers
•Enter cash deposits into BofA CashPro and Foundations on a daily basis
•Prepare and distribute monthly AR statements
•Maintain Accounts Receivable filing system
B. Accounts Payable
•Match purchase orders with vendor invoices
•Enter Accounts Payable invoices from vendors
•Review monthly AP statements received from vendors
•Maintain Accounts Payable filing system
C. Inventory
•Record and maintain inventory on a daily basis
D. Provide regular support to the Senior Accountant
E. Provide support to the Controller as needed
F. Perform all other related or reasonable duties as requested

•Make suggestions and recommendations to the Controller that may improve the well-being of the company, its clients, and employees

•Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

•Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
•Strong math skills and ability to use various accounting equipment
•Preferred: Associate’s degree (minimum) in Accounting
•Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
