Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District will become one of the largest and lowest-cost gold mines in Canada. With the two mines within the district, Island Gold and Magino employ over 900 team members who work in the underground and open pit operations and are located in northern Ontario, just east of the town of Dubreuilville, 83 kilometres northeast of Wawa. Reporting to the Chief Accountant, the Accountant is responsible for supporting operational decision-making, optimizing the use of financial systems, coordinating transaction processing, and financial reporting activities.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications And Experience

The successful candidate for this role is detail oriented with strong organizational skills, with the ability to break down and streamline sophisticated processes. We are looking for someone highly motivated with excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making abilities. Who can communicate effectively and build relationships across our company.
