2nd shift Welder/Shop Technician

We are looking for a Welder/Shop Technician 2nd Shift located in Broken Arrow, OK. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.

- Second shift generally starts at 3:15 pm and may be 8, 10 or 12 hours depending on the workload (with some weekend overtime as needed) - $20+ per hour based on prior experience. Also receives a $4.00 per hour differential ($2.00 for 2nd shift and $2.00 for welding)

What You Will Do:

- Assemble and repair products such as pumps and motors, following defined work instructions, and using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment

- Some welding (MIG and TIG) on carbon and stainless steel when there is a demand.

- Drug screen

- Background Check

Minimum Qualifications:

- This safety-sensitive role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing

- Read, understand and speak English

- Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role

- Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as required

- Technical school graduates, a plus. At Least one year of experience in MIG and TIG welding

- Welding equipment provided by Company

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a manufacturing or assembly environment

- Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

- Requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes and safety glasses

- May stand, walk, stoop, sit, bend, twist, grasp, lift, climb,

- Requires visual and hearing acuity

- Work primarily occurs in a heated and air-conditioned manufacturing environment

- Hazards include proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals

- Atmospheric conditions that affect the respiratory system or skin may include fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation

- Potential skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids

- Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as required
