1st year Apprentice Industrial Mechanics

Proline Pipe Equipment Inc. manufactures, rents and sells quality equipment and supplies to the pipeline construction industry. We are looking for 1st year Apprentice Millwright. This is a full-time opportunity with a guarantee work week of Monday to Friday.

We are currently seeking a candidate to perform the following duties:

- Service equipment for rental purposes (in shop and field setting) various pieces of equipment.

- Inspect equipment when returned from rent for damages and repair or replace defective parts.

- Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and chain & belts to precise tolerances.

- Align and test equipment and make any necessary adjustments.

- Perform predictive and operational procedures,

- Scheduled on call requirements

- Assist in other areas as requested

- Preferred certificates would be idea not necessary

Skills that are required:

- Millwright Apprentice

- Willing to work overtime as needed

- Willing to leave with short notice for service requirements

- Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs

- Must have a valid driver’s license and produce a clean drivers abstract

- Must be able to pass random drug testing

- Ability to prioritize tasks for completion in a timely manner

- Strong attention to detail

- Enjoy a fast-paced environment with often changing priorities.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
