Yard Hand

Job Description

Ampro Well Services is looking to hire for our yard hand position. We are looking for someone who is hard working, self-motivated, and responsible. Candidates must live within the Midland/Odessa area as we do not currently provide housing. This is an entry level position, so no experience is required.

Job Duties:

-Repair & service various types of flowback related equipment such as plug valves, manifolds, plug catchers, etc...

-Maintain clean work area as well as cleaning up the shop & yard

-Assist with loading & unloading of job trailers, job boxes, etc...

-Pressure test equipment to pressure standards

-Organize iron & sort out of date iron

-Assist with other tasks as appointed by manager

Experience:

-Previous experience rebuilding plug valves (2" & 3" manual & gear op)

-Previous experience with hydrostatic pressure testing

-Minimum of 1 year working for flowback or iron recertification company

Requirements:

-Ability to lift 50+ pounds

-Work in various weather conditions

-Willing to work overtime as needed

-Willing to work callouts as needed

-Ability to write & communicate proficiently

-Possess clean driving record

-Live within the Midland/Odessa area

-Use hand/power tools as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
