Workover Rig Operator

As an operator it will be expected to do regular workover operations including pump change, hole in tubing, and parted rod operations. Major tasks will include

- Ensures all crew members are at the rig and prepared to work at the scheduled time

- Determines how a service job will be performed based on specific conditions at the well

- Operates the draw-works and assesses down hole conditions and well pressures

- Lifts, removes, or installs production equipment as required

- Handles jack stands, and assists in securing the guy wires

- Provides operating reports to the Field Supervisor

- Tests and monitors equipment using correct procedures

- Trains and directs the crew on safety and job.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week

Experience:

- Oil & gas Rig Operator: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (Required)
