Woodland Diesel Mechanic Level 3

Our Maintenance Department is open Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 3:30 pm, with a typical scheduling of 40+ hours. This position is responsible for maintaining our fleet of trucks through bit inspections and routine maintenance, while also assisting with general facility maintenance and machines as needed.

- Performs preventative maintenance to fleet, vehicles, plant and machines.

- Minimizes downtime by constantly reviewing operation of fleet, plant equipment and systems.

- Anticipates and solves problems in a timely manner and identifies opportunities for improvement.

- Troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other repairs using a quick and effective root cause analysis.

- Makes repairs quickly and accurately or, when approved by manager, arranges the help of outside contractors.

- Performs minor plumbing, HVAC maintenance such as filter changes, vehicle oil changes, etc. as needed.

- Installs or helps with the installation of equipment.

- Accurately completes paperwork, logs, and work orders.

- Maintains a safe and clean work area as well as that of the facility.

- Adheres to the best practices to maintain a safe worksite.

- Aids and assists other team members to complete the department’s and the company’s goals.

- Represents the team, department, and company by adhering to policies and management decisions with integrity, positivity, and professionalism.

- Works the assigned schedule including any overtime and complies with the company's timekeeping policy.
