Welder/Fitter/Fabricator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques and the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves working in the metals industry and requires adherence to safety at all times. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating metal components and ensuring high-quality welds that meet specifications.

Duties

- Perform various welding processes, including Mig, Spray Arch and Flux Core welding.

- Cope, cut and fabricate to blueprints according to project specifications.

- Weld according to print and perform welding in all positions.

- Use welders, plasma cutting and gas torches to weld and cut material.

- Clean parts as well as clean job from spatter after welding.

- Maintain a safe work environment at all times.

- Operate overhead cranes, tow motors and other material handling equipment.

Experience/Abilities/Skills

- Proven experience in welding

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work.

- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs

- Have good housekeeping

- A good work ethic, few missed days
