Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team with an eye for detail and who takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to technical drawings and specifications. The Fabricator/Welder will work in a dynamic environment, utilizing various tools and equipment to produce high-quality products to our customers.

Duties:

- Fabricate and weld metal components using techniques such as MIG welding

- Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly

- Operate forklifts to transport materials within the workshop

- Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in fabrication

- Work with sheet metal to create custom pieces

- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and solve fabrication issues

Skills:

- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques

- Experience with TIG welding a plus

- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently

- Strong understanding of construction site protocols and safety measures

- Knowledge of calipers and other measuring instruments for accurate fabrication

- Ability to weld steel and aluminum proficiently

- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication challenges

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
