Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and adhere to industry codes and standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the capability to work with various materials and tools.
Responsibilities
•Interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements for fabrication.
•Utilize welding techniques such as Mig and or Tig welding to join metal components effectively.
•Fabricate components according to project specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
•Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
•Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
•Uphold to OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities listed above
•Follow all company rules and policies
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
•Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.
•Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding codes and standards related to welding and fabrication.
•Experience with Mig and Tig highly preferred
•Experience welding with materials such as Stainless Steel, mild steel, aluminum and copper materials required
•Strong skills in using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers for precise measurements.
•Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
•Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
•Knowledge of safety practices related to welding and fabrication processes is required.
•Ability to lift heavy items and or materials
