Welder/Fabricator

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication and a commitment to producing high-quality work that meets industry standards. Responsibilities

- Interpret and read drawings to determine project specifications

- Perform various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding, to fabricate sheet metal parts and/or structural weldments

- Build and assemble metal structures according to design specifications

- Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards throughout the fabrication process

- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure accuracy and durability

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols

Skills

- Proficient in welding techniques with a focus on MIG and TIG welding

- The ability to weld stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum materials including: sheet metal, plate, structural, etc.

- Seasoned experience with metal fabrication shops and equipment

- Understanding of industry standards related to welding and fabrication

- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a family-oriented environment

- Strong leadership history and the ability to effectively communicate, instruct and teach processes as needed with newer welders

Hours are Monday - Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm. Overtime is optional when available.
