Job Responsibilities:
•Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding and fabrication requirements.
•Perform MIG & TIG welding on various metals, i.e. steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
•Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, grinders, and plasma cutters.
•Fit, assemble, and weld metal components to precise measurements and tolerances.
•Conduct quality control checks to ensure all work meets company and industry standards.
•Troubleshoot fabrication and welding issues and make necessary adjustments.
•Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all OSHA safety guidelines.
•Assist in training junior welders and fabricators when necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements:
•Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
•Proficiency in MIG, TIG welding.
•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
•Experience operating metal fabrication machinery and hand tools.
•Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
•Welding certifications (AWS, ASME) are a plus but not required.
