About This Job

Job Responsibilities:

•

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding and fabrication requirements.

•

Perform MIG & TIG welding on various metals, i.e. steel, stainless steel, and aluminum

•

Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, grinders, and plasma cutters.

•

Fit, assemble, and weld metal components to precise measurements and tolerances.

•

Conduct quality control checks to ensure all work meets company and industry standards.

•

Troubleshoot fabrication and welding issues and make necessary adjustments.

•

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all OSHA safety guidelines.

•

Assist in training junior welders and fabricators when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements:

•

Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.

•

Proficiency in MIG, TIG welding.

•

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

•

Experience operating metal fabrication machinery and hand tools.

•

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

•

Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

•

Welding certifications (AWS, ASME) are a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
