Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Pipeline Construction Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in welding techniques pertinent to pipeline construction and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
•Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
•Perform welding operations using various techniques (TIG, MIG, Stick) on different materials, including carbon steel and stainless steel.
•Assemble and install pipe components and systems according to specifications.
•Conduct inspections and tests on welded joints to ensure compliance with industry standards.
•Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
•Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
•Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
•Document welding activities, including materials used and tasks completed
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED.
•Completion of a welding apprenticeship program or technical training.
•AWS certification or equivalent.
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in pipeline welding or a related field.
•Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
•Ability to work in various positions and environments, including confined spaces and at heights.
•Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with high-pressure systems and specialized welding applications.
•Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
•Additional certifications in related disciplines (e.g., NDT, fabrication)
