Welder/Fabricator

GMS Mine Repair & Maintenance is actively hiring 3-4 Welder/Fabricators at a surface mine in South Carolina. We are actively considering candidates that are local to the area, along with those that are interested in traveling and/or moving to the area. Relocation assistance will be paid to those who require it.

The successful candidates will be required to work a rotating shift, consisting of both day and overnight shifts, typically 12-hour durations. To gain consideration, candidates must have extensive experience working as a welder/fabricator, ideally working with surface mining equipment such as haul truck, dozers, and/or various loading units (shovel, loader, excavator). Candidates must also possess line boring experience to gain consideration.
