Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires proficiency in welding, the use of hand and power tools, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Duties

•

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using various welding techniques.

•

Operate hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and join materials.

•

Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

•

Utilize calipers and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.

•

Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.

•

Assist in the installation of ductwork as required for specific projects.

•

Operate forklifts for material handling when necessary.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

•

Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.) and understanding of metal properties.

•

Strong skills in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers.

•

Basic math skills for calculating measurements and material requirements.

•

Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately.

•

Experience with ductwork fabrication is a plus but not mandatory.

•

Forklift certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.

•

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
