Website Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for an in-office website expert who has in-depth knowledge of creating, designing, and maintaining websites for organizations. This specialist offers a wide range of services to the business from website management, such as designing, site maintenance, installing website updates, implementing code changes from SEO team, and fixing bugs. They must use the content management software to be able to communicate the brand of the organization effectively.

Web Specialists are experts in communicating complex ideas in simple terms, have a good eye for graphic design (but are not graphic designers), and have programming skills and knowledge to provide quick, efficient results for eCommerce leadership, SEO, and PPC needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintain and update all company websites with direction from eCommerce Manager

- Implement page layouts, visual content, and graphical elements using website editor.

- Build website conceptual designs and layouts in Figma design system.

- Work closely with development and QA regarding new product releases, upgrades, and modifications.

- Create and curate high-quality content for the website, following SEO best practices.

- Keep website up to date in accordance with Google SEO best practices and eCommerce team direction.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Familiarity with website analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, ahrefs, semrush, google search console, screaming frog, moz

- Ability to create and curate high-quality content for the website, following SEO best practices.

- Knowledge of factors that influence search engine rankings.

- A verifiable track record of consistently meeting and exceeding goals for clients.

- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

- Team player mindset

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

- 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

- 3 years’ experience with Content Management Systems such as WordPress is not required but is a plus.

- 2 years' experience with common SEO platforms

Physical Requirements:

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Pay: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour
