Water Well Driller

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Water Well Driller to join our team operating throughout Southwest Missouri. This role involves drilling residential, commercial, and agricultural water wells using truck-mounted top head rotary drilling rigs.

As a Water Well Driller, you’ll work outdoors in various weather conditions, operate heavy machinery, troubleshoot drilling issues, and ensure safe, clean, and efficient drilling operations that meet state and local codes.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain drilling rigs and support equipment

- Perform drilling operations for water wells, including setting casing and developing the well

- Conduct site assessments and assist in planning drill locations

- Monitor drilling progress and troubleshoot issues as they arise

- Maintain accurate logs and reports in compliance with Missouri DNR regulations

- Work closely with helpers, clients, and contractors on site

- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on drilling equipment

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental standards

Requirements:

- Valid Class A or B CDL (or ability to obtain one within 60 days)

- Experience with rotary and/or cable tool drilling preferred

- Familiarity with Missouri well construction regulations

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

- Willingness to travel to job sites throughout the region

- OSHA 10 or 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus

- High school diploma or GED (technical training is a plus)
