Your Next Challenge Reporting to the Longhole Supervisor, you will be part of the Mine Department. The Longhole Driller is responsible for supporting mine operations and carrying out underground production drilling and other mining tasks as directed, within the construction department. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

+ Blasting experience is an asset + Underground common core is required + Tolerance for hot / cold and humid environment + Demonstrated Safety awareness + Timing/Firing of EZ Dets and DigiShot + Blasting with EZ Dets and DigiShot is an asset

+ Drilling raise or production holes + Collaring/drilling a hole in poor ground conditions + Offsetting a hole if unable to follow engineering prints + Drill maintenance + General inquiries regarding longhole drilling best practices
