Water Treatment Plant Operator Trainee

Learning and Observation:Trainees learn the specifics of water treatment processes, including chemical dosages, equipment operation, and safety protocols, by observing experienced operators.

Assisting with Operations:Trainees assist in various operations, such as sampling water, recording data, and adjusting water flow under the guidance of supervisors.

Basic Maintenance:They may assist with basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning tanks and filter beds, lubricating equipment, and performing minor repairs.

Monitoring and Reporting:Trainees learn to monitor equipment, read gauges and meters, and report any abnomalies or issues to their supervisors.

Safety and Compliance:A strong emphasis is placed on adhering to safety standards and regulations, and trainees are trained on proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
