Water Treatment Plant Operator

The Water Treatment Plant Operator will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of water and wastewater treatment systems in a remote, industrial setting. This includes supporting potable water systems, wastewater disposal, and regulatory compliance, all while maintaining safety and environmental standards under Arctic conditions.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.

Position may involve exposure to extremely hostile weather conditions at times while working outdoors. This position may involve working with potentially hazardous materials and waste.
