Water Treatment Plant Mechanic

The Piedmont Triad Regional Water Authority is currently accepting applications for a Plant Mechanic. We are seeking a self-motivated leader with excellent communication skills to join our team in maintaining our 14.7 Million Gallon Water Treatment Facility, 13 miles of transmission lines, 2 booster stations, tanks, reservoir and associated buffer. Duties include routine maintenance and service of all mechanical equipment within the facility. This equipment includes but is not limited to service pumps, chemical treatment feed pumps, and chemical transfer pumps. Desired applicant will have experience with industrial/mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, electrical systems, valves, piping, HVAC, forklifts and general knowledge of building maintenance. Knowledge and experience with PLC’s and SCADA systems is also highly desired. Rotating “on-call” duty is required for this position and applicant must have an acceptable driving record.
