Regional Utilities has been a trusted provider of water and wastewater services in South Walton since 1985. Formed through a franchise agreement with Walton County, Regional Utilities was established to ensure that this fast-growing coastal region receives dependable, high-quality utility services. Through the agreement, we have the exclusive right to construct, operate, and maintain the critical infrastructure that supports the health, economy, and environment of the communities we serve.This position is responsible for all aspects of plant operations to include but not limited to sampling and testing wastewater per FDEP rules and regulations. Performs, daily reports to include hourly data recording, general plant operation and maintenance, grounds maintenance and hourly plant checks when applicable. Ensures safety practices to comply with OSHA regulations.
The Wastewater Plant Operator is responsible for introduction of chemicals into wastewater plant. Maintains class “A”, “B” or “C” wastewater license. Reports directly to lead wastewater operator or Wastewater Manager.
Applicants must have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the US as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
