Summary
We are currently seeking individuals for the position of: Wash Plant Operator, reporting to the MINE MANAGER.
Responsibilities:
•
Operating a Jigging Wash Plant
•
Quality Control
•
Production Management
•
Laboring/Shovel/Clean up
•
Must maintain plant, grease, change bearings, fix belts etc.
•
Ensure adequate level of replacement parts are on hand
•
Loader experience an asset
•
Operation of Skid Steer once trained.
•
MUST HAVE DRIVERS LICENCE- Class 5 Minimum
•
Must be willing to work 12 hour days
•
Shift Schedule is 24 days on 17 days off
Qualifications:
•
Min. 3 years experience operating a crushing/wash plant
•
Operating Heavy Equipment an asset, Loader, Skid Steer
•
Valid driver’s license
•
Valid First Aid (Minimum Emergency OFA 1)
•
Strong interpersonal skills
•
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a remote camp situation
•
Welding/electrical/mechanical experience an asset
