Arjae Design Solutions Ltd. is a fast growing Engineering, Design and Fabrication company providing unique solutions to clients in the conventional oil & gas and emerging helium industries. We are a manufacturer of process systems, pressure vessels, direct fired heaters, indirect fired heater coils, pressure piping and fittings for the energy and helium extraction/processing industries.
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join our team in the fabrication of pressure vessels and process piping at our Nisku fabrication facility. We are looking for self-motivated, team-oriented individuals who can also work independently, and are focused on safety. - Operate forklift, loader and overhead cranes
- Load, unload and transport various equipment and materials in shop and yard areas
- Perform related shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy of orders, materials and equipment received and/or shipped
- Perform related inventory control activities; Provide assistance and support to ensure accurate inventory management
- Complete and review associated paperwork and computer tasks, ensuring high degree of accuracy
- Complete tasks in a safe manner while working with others
- Perform physical work including frequent bending, twisting, and lifting
- Maintain and organize materials and equipment in shop and yard
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship with focus on quality and accuracy
- Work safely and maintaining safety in facility; Follow and support Arjae’s safety program, procedures and safe work practices
- Perform other duties as required- Minimum of 5+ years experience as a materials handler/shipping & receiving - including forklift operation and related equipment
- Previous experience safely operating forklifts, loader and overhead cranes; and other related shop equipment and tools
- Related forklift training/certification is required; Overhead crane training/certification is an asset
- Strong safety record and experience with safe work procedures
- Previous labour experience in a fabrication shop or similar industrial environment preferred
- Ability to perform physical work for prolonged periods in an industrial shop environment required, with occasional work outdoors
- Strong verbal communication skills; Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and comprehend written materials
- Safety-oriented; Valid First Aid ticket and other HSE-related tickets an asset
- 8 hour shifts; Monday to Friday
