We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Shipper Receiver to join our growing Materials team. This role is responsible for the accurate and efficient movement of goods in and out of the TKMS warehouse, as well as supporting production by maintaining organized and reliable inventory processes.
- Determine the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods.
- Assemble containers and crates, pack goods for shipment, and attach packing slips.
- Direct delivery trucks, assist drivers with unloading, and ensure proper handling of goods.
- Inspect, verify, and record incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Unpack, label, and store goods in designated warehouse areas.
- Investigate and trace lost or delayed shipments.
- Process damaged or returned items and route them appropriately.
- Coordinate with customers and carriers to schedule deliveries and pick-ups.
- Support purchasing with inventory tracking and ordering.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and related stockroom machinery as needed.
- First Aid training and WHMIS knowledge (asset).
- Primarily indoors in warehouse and stockroom; some outdoor unloading required.
- Standing and walking for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
- May require overtime, weekend, or shift work.
- Dusty environment; use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
- May operate polishing equipment or grinders for extended periods.
- Must be capable of working at heights.
