SCOPE:

The Shipping / Receiving Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. The duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate with all internal departments to ensure accuracy of pulling orders for customer shipments

- Prepare all paperwork and stage shipment for pick-up

- Perform “problem-solving” skills to solve daily shipment quantity issues and/or problems.

- Maintains quality and accuracy of order picking & quality procedure and compliance with “On Time to Promise” delivery to customers

- Reviews and maintains inventory count against customer order and shipment date to ensure delivery accuracy.

- Loading and unloading trucks

- Preparing PDSO orders for shipments.

- Receiving purchase orders.

- Receiving and locating UPS shipments.

- Use CRT

- Data entry

- Generating bill of ladings

- Scanning docs

- Processing regulatory documents

- Log discrepancies

- Be familiar with customer packing/shipping guidelines

REQUIREMENTS:

- High School Diploma or equivalent in experience

- Able to work rapidly at a consistent pace for entire shift

- Able to read, write and communicate

- Proficient computer skills

- Able to maintain accuracy in order count for shipment

- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

- Forklift experience required
