Foran Mining Corporation (TSX:FOM) is a forward-thinking mining company redefining the industry. We are seeking a Shipper/ Receiver to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 7/7 rotation.

The Shipper/Receiver has a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials & supplies to site and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of shipping and receiving operations, including inventory management, inventory creation within ERP system, documentation, and coordination with various stakeholders.
- Manage the shipping and receiving of materials and supplies to and from site in accordance with project schedules and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and initiate restocking orders as needed to prevent shortages and overages.
- Ensure that received materials meet quality standards and that outgoing shipments are properly packaged and documented to prevent damage during transportation.
- Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels, in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and transportation providers to schedule deliveries and pickups.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all shipping and receiving activities, including the handling of hazardous materials, if applicable.
- Safely operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Perform routine checks on equipment used for shipping and receiving, report any malfunctions, and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Maintain clear and open communication with project managers, procurement teams, and suppliers to address any shipment delays, discrepancies, or issues promptly.
- Identify and resolve logistics-related issues and discrepancies in a timely and effective manner to minimize disruptions to project timelines.
- Continuously seek opportunities to reduce shipping and logistics costs through effective negotiation with carriers and suppliers.
- High school diploma; logistics or supply chain education an asset.
- 2–3 years of shipping and receiving experience, preferably in mining or construction.
- Valid forklift license.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory software.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes and best practices.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communicator and proactive problem solver.
- Committed to safety and adaptable to site needs.
We offer a competitive starting salary range of $60,000 - $70,000/year based on experience and qualifications. Annual discretionary short term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.
