Warehouse/Class A Driver

Job Description

NW Caliber is looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our team. They are responsible for loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing orders, and maintaining inventory levels.

Responsibilities

- Clean Class A driving record required.

- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.

- Operate a forklift to load or unload trucks (Will train if no experience.)

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Knowledge of metal is a plus but not required.

- Interact with other warehouse staff to exchange information about the company, its products, or its customers.

- Maintain good communication with other staff and management.

- Follow all safety procedures in the company's policy and regulations.

- Drug test will be taken (including cannabis).

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.

- Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.

- Communicate effectively with office/warehouse and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A) is required.

- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations.

- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred.

- Experience with loading and unloading cargo safely.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30-40 per week
