Hawkeye Line Locators is a growing Canadian company looking to hire Utility/Oilfield Locator Assistants in the Red Deer area.

This is a full-time outdoor field position assisting with oilfield pipeline and utility locating projects across Alberta. Work includes supporting experienced Line Locators on pipeline projects, One Call utility locates, OWA projects, inspection work etc.

No previous locating experience is required — training will be provided.

We are looking for motivated, reliable individuals who want to build a long-term career in the locating industry.

Many of our assistants move up to become Lead Line Locators and run their own crews.

Pay

$18 – $22 per hour depending on experience

Job Duties

- Assist experienced Line Locators with pipeline and utility locating

- Work outdoors performing field work in construction and oilfield environments

- Help with equipment setup, maintenance, and documentation

- Support inspection and locating projects across Alberta

- Follow company and client safety procedures

Requirements

- 18 years of age or older

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

- Ability to work outdoors in Alberta weather conditions

- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test

- First Aid / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain, Hawkeye can assist)

- H2S certification (or willingness to obtain, Hawkeye can assist)
