Treasury Accountant, Accountant-in-Training

- Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts

Key Accountabilities:

- Process and record cash receipts and accrual entries with accuracy and timeliness

- Provide primary support for cash disbursement activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations

- Assist in recording daily banking transactions in both CAD and USD accounts

- Support the month-end close process by preparing and analyzing debt-related schedules, including long-term debt, effective interest rate calculations, and realized foreign exchange and risk management gains/losses

- Contribute to quarter-end reporting by preparing and coordinating schedules such as covenant calculations, trust indenture compliance, financial statement reviews, and MD&A disclosures

- Participate in Treasury-related projects and perform additional duties to support team goals and strategic initiatives

What You Bring to the Role:

- University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business Administration

- Completion of, or enrollment in an accounting designation (CPA) program is preferred

- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Enterprise One (E1) are required
