Job Title: Traveling Wind Turbine Technician

Reports To: Operations Manager

Hours: Full Time 50 – 60 hours per week

Pay: $22-$26/hour Depending on Experience & Qualifications

Job Summary:

Rewarding position available for motivated individuals seeking an opportunity in the wind energy industry. Applicants must be hard working, motivated, willing to learn, able to work well with others and able to travel 100% of the time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Safely complete scheduled maintenance on wind turbines including but not limited to: inspections, cleaning, greasing, torqueing and tensioning of wind turbine bolted connections

- Operate and understand hydraulic or electric torque/tension equipment

- Clean, organize and maintain tools, vehicles, equipment, and work areas

- Operate company vehicles in a safe and legal manner

- Exposure to extreme ambient temperatures and outdoor weather

- Physically able to work in confined spaces and lift or move up to 50 lbs.

- Follow specific verbal and written instructions to perform wind turbine and other associated equipment repair, assembly and maintenance

- Complete and maintain required company and client documentation as required

- Perform other daily work requirements as directed by site management

Qualifications:

- 100% commitment to safety

- Ability to travel 100%

- Wind turbine technician experience a plus but not necessary, construction background

- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to learn and attention to detail

- Proficient use of a mobile device and/or computer to complete digital reporting on a daily basis

- Valid driver’s license

- Authorized to work in the USA

- Applicable Safety Training & Certifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
