The Transportation Administrative Coordinator will support the Residential Services Department. Primary duties include: Monitoring and approving group home staff documentation, and utility utilization; schedule client transportation and vehicle upkeep; assist with client transportation, and provide direct support for clients during transport or other residential tasks. The Coordinator will also perform other duties as assigned. The Transportation Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Director of Operations.
Tuesday - Friday 8:30a - 4:30p (32 Hours per week.)
- Perform quality assurance to ensure that staff documentation meet state and billing guidelines
- File mileage, med check, and sign in/out sheets and In-Services documents
- Other projects and tasks assigned by the Residential Manager
- Vehicle Maintenance
- Manage and maintain vehicle records, gas cards, keys, and first aid kits
- Manage and resolve reports of vehicular damage
- Assist in the vehicle leasing, purchasing and disposal process
- Schedule & approve vehicle maintenance, bumper to bumper inspections, and as needed maintenance/repair that ensures the health and safety of all clients/staff
- Ensure all vehicle state inspections, registrations, licensing and toll tags are up to date
- Ensure vehicle cleaning & upkeep schedule is maintained
- Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned

- Manage the scheduling/coordination of vehicles to meet the daily/weekly transportation needs of all departments
- Provide transportation for client and group home staff when needed
- Attend client appointment in accordance with company policy when needed
- Provide direct care ensuring safety and freedom from abuse, neglect, and exploitation
- Provide supervision and support for each client as defined in their PDP / IP
- Ensure a clean, healthy and hazardous-free environment for individuals
- Engage and interact with individuals with a focus on promoting positive social interactions
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Web-based software
- Able to problem solve and organize tasks/events
- Must be able to work autonomously and in a team
- Must be detail oriented and work well under pressure
- Must be able to lift, carry and move 15-50 lbs varying distances
- Able to operating office equipment and motor vehicles
- Able to hear (with aid), speak, walk, climb stairs/ladders, stand and grasp objects, operate small tools and machinery
- Ability to effectively communicate in written and oral format
- Able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Must be flexible to changes in work pace
- Valid Driver’s License & insurable driving record
- High School Diploma
- At least 21 years of age
- At least 2 years of experience providing administrative support in an office setting
- At least 1 year of experience providing direct care
