About Potash

The Jansen project in Saskatchewan, Canada is set to become one of the largest potash mines in the world and is located approximately 140 kilometers east of Saskatoon. BHP’s CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment in the Jansen project will deliver a potash mine in Saskatchewan designed to maximize sustainability. As the largest investment in Saskatchewan’s history, Jansen is expected to generate approximately 5,500 workforce opportunities during construction and 900 long-term roles.

Jansen's construction will take place over several years with first production planned for mid-2027. Once fully ramped up, Jansen is expected to have an initial production capacity of approximately 8.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), with the potential to produce 16 to 17 Mtpa in future stages. Work Location

This role will be based at the Jansen Mine Site located in Leroy, SK.

As this role is not eligible for accommodation in the site camp, the incumbent must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Jansen site. BHP offers domestic relocation assistance to support the successful incumbent in transitioning, if required. Benefits offered as part of the relocation program include (but are not limited to) new home purchase assistance, temporary accommodations, home finding trip and a relocation allowance.

Purpose

Reporting to the Superintendent Technical Training, the Training Coordinator will provide support to ensure that the Training program and all associated processes, procedures and systems adhere to legislated requirements and internal controls.

About The Role

In this role, you will:

- Work closely with the training team to ensure that systems are set up to meet all legal, corporate and site-based requirements.

- Support the trainers to manage all training documentation and records to ensure compliance.

- Provide comprehensive reporting and analytics on the training programs and systems to ensure regulatory and site compliance.

- Support the learning team for teams' systems such as Teams or SharePoint, document management and controls and other systems as determined by the Lead, Training Deployment.

- Support deployment and coordinate site visits from the Saskatoon office to site and ensure all onboarding requirements are met for site work and site visits.

- Coordinate the training center for onboarding, course scheduling and programming, room logistics etc.

- Actively participate, comply and contribute to the effective operation of BHP’s relevant HSE policies and systems.

About You

- Strong experience and background in working in an operational technical environment within mining or heavy industry.

- High level interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong partnerships across a range of stakeholders both external and internal.

- Post secondary training in office administration.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
