Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tractor Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and a passion for troubleshooting and repairing John Deere 5100E tractors, John Deere FC15R mowers, John Deere 6105E tractors, and Diamond DBM Boom Mowers. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Duties

•

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment.

•

Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.

•

Utilize an ohmmeter to test electrical components and ensure proper functionality.

•

Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance.

•

Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.

•

Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

•

Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed.

Skills

•

Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment, including an ohmmeter.

•

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.

•

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

•

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

•

Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to team members.
