Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Truck/ Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, mechanical expertise, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. .
Duties
•
Inspect, maintain, and repair a variety of trucks and machinery.
•
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
•
Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid level checks.
•
Repair and replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and exhaust systems.
•
Ensure all vehicles and equipment comply with safety and regulatory standards.
•
Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
•
Respond to on-site breakdowns and field repairs.
•
Utilize power tools and industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
•
Handle heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
•
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:
•
Experience as a diesel mechanic, truck mechanic, or equipment technician.
•
Proficient with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
•
Familiarity with diagnostic software and repair manuals.
•
Ability to lift heavy parts and tools, and work in a physically demanding environment.
•
A solid understanding of using power tools effectively in automotive repair tasks.
