Summary:
Responsible for managing onsite construction operations, coordinating with third-party vendors, and ensuring the successful execution of well pad and facility construction projects. This role involves overseeing quality control, scheduling, equipment management, and reporting, with a key focus on electrical and instrumentation (I&E) installations.
Job Duties And Responsibilities:•Oversee onsite construction activities for well pads and facilities.
•Schedule and coordinate third-party contractors for assigned projects.
•Review Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and ensure proper execution.
•Conduct daily inspections and highlight I&E installations on drawings.
•Verify that I&E construction aligns with project drawings and specifications.
•Ensure all redlines and revisions are communicated to the Foreman.
•Manage well pad orders and equipment, including quality control at supplier locations and onsite.
•Schedule and coordinate equipment deliveries to job sites from warehouses and vendors.
•Oversee the installation and maintenance of well pad racks, high-voltage enclosures, secondary load centers, J-boxes, well head racks, and other materials.
•Manage PLC-200, PS-200, and other instrumentation, such as pressure transmitters (PTs).
•Schedule and supervise backhoe operations, hydrovac, forklift usage, and trash/john trailer pickups.
•Organize the return of materials to warehouses or suppliers.
•Ensure proper installation and measurement for injection and ESP radio equipment.
•Perform quality control checks on all materials both at the supplier's shop and onsite.
•Oversee the correct installation of all equipment and materials according to project specifications.
•Report all incidents, damages, and changes in project scope to the Foreman immediately.
•Ensure timely and accurate input of facility and well pad activities, along with associated costs, into SiteView.
•Confirm job tickets and labor costs for assigned projects are correctly logged in OpenTicket and SiteView.
•Provide regular project progress updates to the I&E Foreman.
•Collect and incorporate contractor feedback and verify invoices for accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
•High School diploma or equivalent
•Minimum of (2) years of I&E experience and (5) years of oilfield experience
•Knowledge in SCADA network architecture
•Familiar with local and national electrical codes (NEC)
•Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
•Able to meet insurability standards to drive a company vehicle
•Preferred Qualifications:
•Self-starter capable of performing with minimal supervision
•Good communication skills both verbal and written
•Basic knowledge of programming
•State of Texas Journeyman Electrician License
•PLC programming experience
