POSITION SUMMARY
The Electrical Technician is responsible for conducting, maintaining, testing and repairing electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. This position applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment, including programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gauges and test equipment
•Install, start up and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements
•Inform appropriate management of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved
•Maintain company required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment
•Perform preventative maintenance functions
•Assist and train other maintenance and other technical level employees
•Obey and follow all safety rules and policies
•Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE)
•Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
•High School diploma or equivalent education
•2+ years of electrical experience in an industrial setting
•Basic written and verbal skills
•Must be reliable and have good time management skills
•For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
•For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
