Position Overview
The Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Technician I - IT Service Desk to serve End Users via phone, email, Microsoft Teams, and Walk-ins. Provide problem solutions at deskside, through use of remote desktop tools, and over the phone. Provide support for IT Team by adding documentation on issue resolutions in Knowledge Base. Customer Service skills are a must as well as being a Team Player. Must be energetic and proactive.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
•Primary responsibilities include triaging and resolving basic technical issues such as password resets, account unlocks, and software installation requests
•Configure, install, and maintain workstations and laptops in a networked environment.
•Learn to identify network, hardware, and software problems utilizing diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
•Assist in installing, configuring, applying patches, and updating operating systems and workstation applications.
•Provide end-user support. Resolve issues on workstation operation in a networked environment.
•Assist in the administration and maintenance of antivirus and other specialized software.
•Assist in maintaining hardware and software inventories.
•Ensure all scheduled support activities and project deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of end user satisfaction and confidence.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualities:
•Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment, including Windows 10 and MS Office 365
•Resolve problems while maximizing efficient use of computing resources.
•Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and back-out instructions.
•Work well in a team-oriented environment.
Education, Training, Experience:
•Minimum of 1 year experience in an IT services desk environment, preferred
Certificates, Registrations, Licenses:
•Valid Oklahoma driver’s license, or the ability to convert within 30 days for those with an out of state driver’s license that are an Oklahoma resident.
Physical Requirements:
•The employee must occasionally lift, and/or move up to 50 pounds.

•Position is located at the Engineering and Technology Center in Tulsa, OK
