We are seeking a dynamic and highly technical Technical Program Manager to lead complex engineering programs, demonstrating the flexibility to adapt and "throw your energy where the day requires." This pivotal leadership role involves driving programs from strategic planning and requirements definition through to final delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, quality, time, and budget constraints. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, coordinating organizational resources, and serving as the primary engineering communication liaison between the Acculon core team, executive-level management, and external partners.
- Engage with the program sponsor to define the program requirements
- Create technical and requirements specifications.
- Track and manage project risks, status, and deliverable timelines.
- Establish mechanisms to optimize team effectiveness.
- Lead your program team and deliver strategic value.
- Serve as the engineering communication point-of-contact with the Acculon core team, external partners, and other outside parties.
- Coordinate resources across the organization.
- Deliver programs within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget and under circumstances involving multiple moderate-probability, moderate-impact risk factors.
- Program-level strategic planning, interaction with executive-level management, complex issue resolution, excellent communications, and team-building skills. ● Manage a group or groups of internal employees and contractors that serve on the project(s) to deliver systems and systems enhancements that meet specified requirements.
- Oversight of project scope definition and management, requirements gathering and documentation, time estimating, project schedule development and tracking, project budget management, project status reporting, issue and risk management, contingency planning, customer interaction, and communications across multiple organizational levels.
- A Master's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, or similar is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in engineering management or closely related roles. ● Ability to manage projects across cross-functional teams.- Experience working with batteries, power electronics, or mobile vehicles is required
- Strong technical communication skills.
