The Technical Investor Relations Manager will support a confidential mining client's investor relations, corporate development and market positioning activities across a multi-asset exploration portfolio.
This role is focused on translating the client's exploration strategy, technical results, asset potential and corporate growth objectives into clear, credible and persuasive investor-facing communication. The role will support engagement with institutional investors, brokers, analysts, strategic investors, potential partners and other capital markets stakeholders.
The role requires a commercially minded individual with strong mining and geological understanding. The successful candidate must be able to communicate the client's technical and commercial strategy with credibility, confidence and discipline. This person must understand exploration-stage value creation, be able to explain technical information to non-technical audiences, and support senior leadership in building market awareness and investor confidence.
The Technical Investor Relations Manager must have enough technical credibility to understand and discuss geology, drill results, exploration programs, project catalysts, technical risks and asset potential, while maintaining accuracy and alignment with public company disclosure requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Relations, Market Positioning & Capital Markets Engagement
- Support the development and execution of the client's investor relations strategy across the full portfolio.
- Clearly communicate the client's technical strategy, commercial strategy, portfolio priorities, project catalysts and value creation pathway.
- Support engagement with institutional investors, brokers, analysts, strategic investors, potential partners and other capital markets participants.
- Assist senior leadership with investor meetings, broker meetings, conferences, roadshows, calls and follow-up communications.
- Help position the client effectively within the junior mining and mineral exploration
- Track investor feedback, recurring questions, market concerns and common objections.
- Support the development of clear, consistent and technically credible market messaging.
- Work closely with the technical team to understand the client's exploration assets, geological setting, drill programs, technical results and advancement plans.
- Translate geological and exploration information into clear investor-facing language.
- Communicate drill results, exploration upside, target generation, asset potential, technical risks and next steps in a balanced and credible manner.
- Develop asset-level positioning that explains the technical rationale, scale potential and commercial relevance of each project.
- Support the preparation of technical summaries, investor Q&A, asset overviews, project updates and site visit materials.
- Ensure technical communication is accurate, consistent and aligned with approved technical information.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective investors, brokers, analysts, institutions, strategic investors and potential partners.
- Conduct proactive investor outreach and follow-up after meetings, conferences, news releases and corporate updates.

- Prepare briefing notes, meeting materials, talking points and follow-up actions for investor, broker and partner discussions.
- Help identify and prioritize investor and partner targets based on strategic relevance, market fit and potential value to the client.

- Support the preparation and review of technical news releases and investor communications.
- Coordinate with technical, legal and regulatory advisors to ensure investor materials are accurate and appropriately reviewed.
- Maintain consistency between investor materials, public disclosure, technical information and approved corporate messaging.
- Support communication practices consistent with Canadian public company disclosure expectations, including NI 43-101 technical disclosure coordination where applicable.
- Ensure communications remain factual, technically supportable and commercially effective.
- Maintain the client's investor CRM, including investor contacts, meeting history, investor preferences, feedback and follow-up actions.
- Monitor peer companies, comparable exploration companies, market activity, commodity trends and investor sentiment.
- Track share price movement, trading activity, broker commentary, analyst feedback and sector developments.
- Prepare regular investor relations updates for senior leadership, including outreach activity, investor feedback, market observations and recommended next steps.
- Support peer benchmarking, market positioning and basic comparable company analysis.
- Identify gaps in current investor materials, market positioning or technical communication and recommend improvements.
- Support the planning and execution of investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, broker meetings and technical briefings.
- Prepare agendas, talking points, investor materials, Q&A documents and follow-up action lists.
- Support site visit planning and technical tours where required.
- Represent the client professionally in market-facing settings, either independently or alongside senior management.
- Ensure investor follow-up is timely, organized and aligned with the client's broader investor relations and corporate development objectives.
