Technical Designer for a Signs and Graphics Company

Job Brief:

Red Elephant is looking for a Graphic Designer to create engaging designs according to requirements.

You will work under the supervision of a Design Director to produce high-quality work. In this role, you should be highly creative and have a sharp eye for detail. An interest in architecture, manufacturing and materials is also a plus. If you’re passionate about design and eager to learn more, we’d like to meet you. Role Overview:

In this role, an understanding of architectural drawing scales and the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings are essential. A passion for manufacturing, fabrication methods, and materials is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop detailed technical/ shop drawings and plans based on provided designs.

· Research and select appropriate materials and methods to meet project requirements and specifications.

· Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.

· Prepare project documentation utilizing software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Sign Agent.

· Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting or detailing.

· Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign) and AutoCAD

· Strong understanding of architectural and construction principles.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team.

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

· Experience with architectural signage and architectural graphics is a significant plus.

· Experience with 3D software is a plus.

· This is a full-time, in-person position, with benefits, in Lewisville, Texas.
