Mid-Level CAD Designer – SolidWorks Sheet Metal Location: Corona, CA Job Type: Full-Time
About Us:
We are currently looking for a skilled CAD designer with Solid Works sheet metal experience to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Create and update detailed SolidWorks 3D models focused on sheet metal parts
•
Generate accurate flat patterns and bend allowances
•
Collaborate with production to ensure designs are manufacturable
•
Interpret technical drawings and specs clearly
•
Support engineering team with design revisions and troubleshooting
Requirements:
•
3+ years SolidWorks experience, specializing in sheet metal design
•
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes (bending, laser cutting, punching)
•
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
•
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred:
•
Experience with laser cutting and CNC programming
•
Familiarity with manufacturing workflows and ERP software
