Tech, Emissions Compliance

The Emissions Compliance Tech is responsible for inspecting and documenting Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR), Method 22 inspections, and various other regulatory/compliance tasks. This position will be based out of Watford City or New Town, ND Field offices on a Monday - Friday 9/80 schedule. Level and salary commensurate with experience.

Essential Job Functions

- Conducts field Inspections and observations of production facilities including, LDAR, Method 22’s, and AVO

- Assures operational compliance with governmental requirements and company policies

- Responsible for making safety and environmental awareness the primary focus

- Effectively communicates with team and leadership

- Responsible for completing required documentation of all inspections

- Performs routine maintenance and repairs when applicable

- Must understand and perform all duties according to Company standard operating procedures and in compliance within all regulatory and EH&S guidelines

- All other duties as assigned or based off business need

Minimum Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED

- 1 year oil and gas experience

- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for Company motor vehicle insurance requirements

- Must be at least 21 years old for Company motor vehicle insurance

- Must live within 70 mile radius of field office outside of New Town, ND or Watford City, ND

- Physical Requirements

- Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

- Able to handle exposure to extreme weather conditions and areas where hazardous chemicals are present

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit and walk extensively

- Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical, and to be able to meet all physical requirements of the job

Preferred Qualifications
