Job Title: Environmental Compliance and Permitting Specialist at Trihydro Corporation
Job Summary:
In your role as an Environmental Compliance Specialist, you will assist with multi-media environmental compliance related tasks for air, water, waste, and ecological restoration programs. Typical work tasks will include, but not be limited to, coordination with the project team, coordination with subcontractors, conducting daily, weekly, monthly inspections per facility permit conditions (i.e., stormwater, spill prevention, processes water discharge, waste accumulation, storage, and disposal, and monitoring compliance with permits), collecting and updating internal data tracking documents, and preparing/updating routine progress reports for submittal to various regulatory agencies.

- Managing project documents and directory.
- Developing filing structure and document control procedures.
- Managing filing procedures both electronically and paper copy.
- Cataloging historical documents and boxing and shipping to offsite storage.
- Order and file supplies and equipment as necessary, and other general office duties.
- Coordination and Communication.
- 2 years or more of Regulatory Compliance related work
- Management of multi-media environmental permits related to air, water, and waste programs and general knowledge of Local, State, and Federal regulatory requirements for such programs
- Waste handling requirements through proper management of central accumulation areas, satellite accumulation areas, shipping manifests, and solid waste profiling to RCRA regulations
- Compliance with air permits, hazardous waste regulations, and wastewater and storm water NPDES permits
- Compliance with Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans
- Sampling of water, wastewater, soil, solids, and sludges for laboratory analysis and disposal
- Document management skills, hard copy and electronic filing media
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team members
- Demonstrated ability to fulfill commitments on schedule and to do what it takes to meet client service expectations and requirements
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness
- Clean driving record and an ability to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices
- Bachelor’s in science (BS) degree in related fields is preferred but not required.

The salary information shown below is a general guideline ONLY. Salaries are based on candidates' experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $70,000- $85,000
This position will remain open until a qualified candidate has been selected.
