We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to manage a large-scale document digitization project for a major oil and gas company. This role is critical to the project's success and requires a leader who can guide a team to meet ambitious goals in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of oil and gas documentation, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and efficiency. This project is anticipated to last 9 months.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of digitization specialists, fostering a culture of teamwork, responsibility, and high performance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on oil and gas documents, providing guidance to the team on document identification, preparation, and scanning protocols.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows for document preparation, making intelligent decisions to ensure documents are ready for digitization.
- Set a high standard for the team by demonstrating a strong work ethic, a sense of urgency, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Oversee the daily operations of the digitization team to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
- Act as the main point of contact for team members' questions, providing clear and concise answers to facilitate project progress.
- Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct training to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the project manager and other stakeholders to report on progress, identify potential risks, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Ensure all project activities comply with the company's data management and security policies.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with a demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Knowledge of various oil and gas documents
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a track record of successfully meeting project targets.
- Strong decision-making skills, particularly in the context of document handling and preparation for scanning or digital conversion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to answer questions and provide clear direction to team members.
- A proactive and responsible attitude, with the ability to lead by example and instill a sense of accountability within the team.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work on-site in Southeast Houston.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite) is expected. Experience with document management or scanning software is a plus.
