The Talent Acquisition & Branding Specialist provides support in the Human Resources Department by leading the recruitment and onboarding process. This individual collaborates with hiring managers to identify talent needs, sources potential candidates, conduct interviews, and oversee the necessary documentation to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience. This position will also oversee documentation compliance.
Tasks & Responsibilities
•Knows, understands, and follows all Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and requirements.
•Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and recruit top-quality candidates for the organization.
•Source and screen candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate the selection process in collaboration with hiring managers.
•Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and other talent sources.
•Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop job descriptions and specifications.
•Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
•Manage employee records and personnel files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
•Process new hire paperwork, including employment contracts, benefits enrollment, and other required documentation.
•Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, onboarding, and offboarding.
•Collaborates with public relations & communications department to help build and maintain the ArcelorMittal brand as an employer of choice.
•Collaborate with the HR Specialist and other team members to support HR initiatives and projects as needed.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field is preferred.
•Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in utilizing recruiting strategies and techniques as well as using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
•MS Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
•Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
•Must be capable of reviewing and interpreting complex documentation.
