Your contribution!
The System Administrator will be responsible for the smooth operation and development of the company's systems.
Your day-to-day!
• Participates in the development of infrastructure architecture;
• Analyzes IT equipment performance and security and analyzes recurring issues;
• Configures and install servers and server software;
• Maintains documentation and procedures;
• Provides Level 2 and 3 support to ensure server security, integrity, and performance;
• Assists the call centre technical team in escalating problem resolution;
• Works with support teams to monitor their operational work and intervene when necessary;
• Actively participates in implementing best practices and improving the environment to ensure availability;
• Participates in various infrastructure development projects and the implementation of new technologies.
Your skills, our requirements!
• University degree in computer science or college diploma with related experience;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in network management;
• Have extensive knowledge of concepts, technologies, and products related to systems such as virtual mode and the cloud (in hybrid mode);
• Ability to work in a team;
• Be able to collaborate with the company's operations and construction teams;
• Be sensitive to risk management and participate in the implementation of cybersecurity solutions and monitoring measures;
• Availability for occasional evening and weekend work;
• Fluency in written and spoken French and English;
• Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) is required to ensure collaboration with various stakeholders outside Quebec on a recurring basis.
Additional considerations!
• The position is based in the company's Longueuil (Quebec) headquarters, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
• This position is a P2 level.
