Windows Server Administrator

We are currently seeking an experienced Windows System Administrator to join our team. The system administrator must have a deep comprehension of Microsoft software, server grade hardware, and local area networks. This is on premises role in a hybrid environment. Remote hybrid work will be made available after a period of evaluation. Minimum 3 Years of experience in an enterprise environment. Required demonstration of competency in the technologies detailed in the following duties:

Windows Server Administrator Duties and Responsibilities

· Administration of a Microsoft Active Directory enterprise infrastructure :

· Perform monthly maintenance on enterprise infrastructure including operating systems, applications and firmware.

· Expand enterprise infrastructure with new roles and services.

· Troubleshoot server side problems reported by tier 1 helpdesk.

· Monitor, remediate and document infrastructure alerts.

· Maintain file system server permissions and structures.

· Evaluate system performance and present recommendations.

· Maintain the integrity of the server network :

· Ensure network connectivity throughout a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure

· Perform and document static network address assignment.

· Perform and document static routing table configuration.

Windows Server Administrator Requirements and Qualifications

· Certifications in Microsoft Server Technologies, Window Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or equivalent.

· Minimum 3 years experience administering a hybrid Microsoft enterprise environment.

· Experience with Microsoft enterprise technologies:

o Microsoft Exchange email server.

o Microsoft Domain Name Service.

o Microsoft Group Policy.

o Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services.

o Microsoft Certificate Services.

o Microsoft Windows Server Update Services.

o Microsoft Windows Deployment Services.

o Microsoft Hyper-V.

o Microsoft Failover Clustering.

o Microsoft DHCP.

· Ability to self organize and effectively document computer infrastructure

· Ability to work in a project focused environment.

· Ability to script and perform command line changes

CIS configuration experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
