You will be reporting to the Maintenance Planning General Supervisor and will be part of the Mine Maintenance Team. You will ensure that planning strategies and deliverables are aligned with the reliability strategy and long-term operational goals. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Secure parts/material in close communication with shift supervision where required. This includes looking up part numbers and the administrative work including entry into the work orders or for direct charge
- Tagging of parts to ensure cores return for quick transport to be remanufactured or fulfill core return obligations
- Maintain close communication with Planners to ensure future work is resourced to be successful. Parts and material may be procured by the Planners or the Material Coordinators. Typically, large components for planned activities will be ordered and coordinated through the Planners and the Material Coordinators. All others by Material Coordinator
- Attend Planning/Scheduling Meetings Tuesday afternoon to ensure following weeks schedule is reviewed and input offered on parts and material availability. Scheduling all tasks with confidence of parts/material availability is the goal
- Participate in kitting the material on surface in preparation for upcoming work
- Communicate through a log/spreadsheet with your cross shift all activities day to day tracking and material status. This is a quick reference for the Supervisor
- Actively participate in creating a clean organized system/work area and assist warehouse personnel
- Act with integrity and as representative of the business
- Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Assist with critical orders (rushes) and SSJ submissions, working with purchasing group
- Manage staging areas on surface
- Monitor critical spares (Location, condition, readiness)
- Monitor return to stock and scrap processes
- Ensure inventory of surface storage areas are understood and managed
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Certification in a Maintenance trade preferred
- Minimum of five years’ experience in an industrial/ mining setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with inventory management software applications such as SAP
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid G Driver’s License
- Strong physically and mentally
- Good work ethic and strong attitude towards safety.

- Schedule: 4 days on-site by 3 days off, at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
