Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our supply chain processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. This position involves collaborating with various departments to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and support production planning initiatives. A strong understanding of supply chain management systems, including SAP, is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

•

Develop and implement supply chain strategies that enhance operational efficiency.

•

Collaborate with production planning teams to ensure alignment between supply and demand.

•

Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to manage inventory control effectively.

•

Forecast demand accurately to minimize excess inventory while ensuring product availability.

•

Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

•

Support lean manufacturing initiatives to streamline processes and reduce waste.

•

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain optimal stock levels.

•

Facilitate communication between departments to ensure smooth operations across the supply chain.

Experience

•

Proven experience in supply chain management or related field is preferred.

•

Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is essential.

•

Strong knowledge of production planning methodologies and inventory control practices.

•

Experience with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.

•

Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on forecasts and trends.

•

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: $35.00 - $39.22 per hour
